Realistic network planning
Routes are shaped around demand, seasonality, turn times, gate limits, maintenance needs, and crew pairing flow.
Who we are
Vista Airways is a simulated airline based in Colorado Springs, designed around believable schedules, practical aircraft rotations, and the kind of operational detail that makes virtual airline flying feel alive.
Our airline
Vista operates as a leisure-focused low-cost carrier, connecting Colorado Springs with beach markets, desert weekends, mountain towns, and select international resort destinations. The network is intentionally focused: fewer random dots, more useful flying that can be operated like a real airline.
Routes are shaped around demand, seasonality, turn times, gate limits, maintenance needs, and crew pairing flow.
Schedules are built with aircraft utilization, RON planning, recovery value, and crew legality in mind.
Vista is serious about procedures and immersion, but the goal is still a friendly group that enjoys flying together.
Home base
COS gives Vista a credible headquarters, a manageable hub structure, and a strong leisure identity. It also creates a natural airline story: a carrier built around Colorado travelers who want useful access to sun, ski, resort, and city markets.
Vista's simulated operations center, crew planning, and schedule control are centered on Colorado Springs.
The airline balances COS flying with selected western flow routes and resort-oriented point-to-point flying.
The next phase will add crew tools, manuals, bids, briefings, and dispatch workflows behind a secure login.
